Sylvania (Ohio) Southview linebacker prospect Nathan Hall knew he wanted to attend school and play football at Northwestern.
Nathan Hall will join his older brother Jimmy Hall at Northwestern.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Hall just needed to sleep on it.
A day after earning his offer from the Wildcats at camp, Hall called head coach Pat Fitzgerald and gave him his commitment.
Hall becomes the 12th commit for Northwestern in the class-of-2014, and he'll join his brother Jimmy Hall, who is currently a junior defensive back in Evanston.
"I've known Coach Fitzgerald and Coach (Matt) MacPherson and a lot of the coaching staff through my brother because he went through the process," Hall began. "I've known those guys since my eighth grade year. I was familiar with the coaching staff and they're good people and he likes it there.
"The coaching staff are all good people there. I got to know some of the players there from my brother. I like them and obviously with what they've done with Northwestern football is great. I know Coach Fitz is going to be there for quite awhile. I don't have to worry about that and the academics there are amazing and that was important to me and my family and I like that about the school."
Hall was also offered by Akron, Bowling Green, Kent State, Pittsburgh, Toledo and Western Michigan. There wasn't a better feeling than leaving Northwestern's campus with an offer and knowing he was going to commit.
"It was a huge weight off my shoulders," Hall said. "I'm glad to know a school I knew very well and I like was offering me."
