Bye Week Recruiting Travels

Five-star DE Jashon Cornell is one of a few juniors to already hold a Northwestern offer.

The Northwestern coaching staff used the first two days of this week's bye week to hit the road and do some recruiting.

Some of the stops include...

Defensive coordinator Mike Hankwitz went and saw St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin Derham Hall five-star defensive end Jashon Cornell.

Linebackers coach Randy Bates was in Indianapolis to see a pair of juniors in Lawrence Central four-star linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. and Pike linebacker Quentin Moon.

Offensive coordinator Mick McCall went down to Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman to see recently offered Top100 junior Jauan Jennings.

Defensive backs coach Jerry Brown headed out to see several prospects in Southern California and Northwestern also checked in on some local guys.
